Provider directory
Broadband providers without line rental
A practical shortlist of UK providers to check if you want broadband without paying for a traditional analogue landline.
Provider comparison
Availability is postcode-led. A provider can be excellent in one street and unavailable in the next, especially where full fibre networks are being built area by area.

How to compare providers fairly
Check the technology
Full fibre is different from copper-based broadband sold without a calls package. The installation, speed and future-proofing can be very different.
Compare total cost
Look beyond the headline monthly price. Setup charges, annual price rises, router delivery and contract length can change the real cost.
Read voice terms
If you still use a home phone, alarm, care device or payment terminal, check Digital Voice or VoIP compatibility before switching.
Confirm availability
Provider maps are not perfect. Always run the provider's own postcode checker before assuming a package can be ordered.
