How we choose what to cover
We focus on UK broadband topics related to no-line-rental broadband, full fibre, SOGEA, cable broadband, 5G home broadband, Digital Voice and the PSTN switch-off. We do not aim to be a general telecoms news site.
How providers are ranked
Provider rankings are based on availability, connection type, total monthly cost, contract length, setup costs, expected performance and suitability for the search intent. Where live package data is not yet integrated, we label examples clearly and direct users to provider websites to confirm prices and availability.
Commercial relationships must not override basic accuracy. A package that is unavailable, misleadingly described or poor value for the stated use case should not be recommended simply because it pays a commission.
How we handle updates
Commercial pages should be reviewed at least quarterly and sooner when providers change major pricing, availability, contract terms or product names. Informational guides should be reviewed when regulation, network deadlines or provider migration policies change.
Corrections
If a reader or provider spots an error, we will review the point and update the relevant page where appropriate. Corrections should preserve context rather than silently changing the meaning of a recommendation.
Sources
The site is built around provider information, regulator guidance, network operator updates and broadband availability data. When the site makes a time-sensitive claim, the page should show a review date and be updated when the underlying facts change.
Provider listings and commercial pages will be updated as direct partnerships and affiliate approvals are added.
